Easter in Vegas

We were riding in the car and Karli heard a song she loves. I just had to record it. It is so cute. I just love spending time with her. She can make any day great! It is great to spend time with both of my grandchildren and my daughters and their families. Family is the best and I just love being with them. I miss Alicia for Easter. I know she had a great birthday. I can't wait to spend time with her and can't wait for her baby to get here. I am so excited about having 2 new grand babies this year. How blessed I am. My family is growing and I am so blessed everyday. I love you dear family!!!

Finally no cast

It seems like I have been forever in a cast and my wrist seemd like it was never going to get better. Well, I changed doctors and found one who knew what she was doing. Apparently when I fell, I not only broke my radius bone (wrist) and the bone in my thumb, I also tore the tendons in the same area. Torn tendons hurt more then breaks do and of course take longer to heal. As I stated in my last blog about breaking my wrist I had a doctor who didn't believe me and thought the pain was in my head. Well, this doctor explained that because I had a wrong cast on for 10 days, I now have inflamed tendon and fasha. That explains the pain. I am now in a splint to protect my thumb and trying to will the pain to go away. I will have 2 weeks more and if the pain hasn't gone away by then, I will get a shot for that. UGH I will just be so glad to get a hand that works back.
